How many Litecoins are mined per day?

Litecoin mined per day

1. INTRODUCTION

Currently, 6.25 Litecoins are mined every 2.5 minutes (which is the time it takes for the protocol to produce a new block on the chain).

To calculate how many LTC are mined per day, we just need to apply proportional reasoning.

2. HOW MANY LTC are mined per day?

If 6.25 LTC are mined every 2.5 minutes, that results in approximately 150 LTC per hour and 3,600 LTC per day.

(*) The calculation using the rule of three is as follows: 6.25 × 1440 / 2.5 = 3600 (where 1,440 is the total number of minutes in a day).
