1. INTRODUCTION

Here I show you how to edit your own images on Midjourney.

I hope you find it useful till they fix the interface of this awesome AI.

 

2. HOW TO EDIT YOUR OWN IMAGES ON MIDJOURNEY

(*) UPDATE: It seems Midjourney has removed the option to upload images on the newbies chat. More information [HERE].

 

  1. Upload the image you want to edit to the chat (+ symbol; left to the chat box). (*) Make sure to click enter once uploaded to add it to the chat.
  2. Once posted in the chat, click on the image (it will pop-up).
  3. Right-click the enlarged image to copy the URL of the image.
  4. Open the classic /imagine command, paste the URL you have copied and then -after a space- add what you want to do with the image.

  1. Can I use photos I have saved on my Mac to create a midjouney AI art? I upload the photos but when I copy the link and paste it what it says is just the photo’s name as I have it saved on my Mac, it doesn’t show any URL.

    • I’ve found that adding a celebrity to the prompt produces fairly consistant results

    • Hey Craig, I think Midjourney isn’t the best tool for that (at least for now).

      I’m pretty sure there must be specific AIs for book illustrations that will be way more consistent in the scenes.
